Bill Clinton stumps for Democrats in Pennsylvania
WYNNEWOOD, Pa. — Former President Bill Clinton is campaigning in Pennsylvania for the second time in as many months as he tries to boost the chances of the Democrats running for governor and Senate.
Clinton made a campaign stop for Senate candidate Joe Sestak and charged Republicans with proposing to do little more than cut taxes for the wealthy and repeal the federal health care overhaul.
Clinton and Sestak spoke to about 150 senior citizens at a suburban Philadelphia community center. The Philadelphia suburbs are often a key swing district in state and national elections.
Sestak is a former Navy admiral who served in the Clinton White House. He faces Republican Pat Toomey.
Clinton also appeared with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dan Onorato.
