WASHINGTON (GaeaTimes.com) — One of the most famous whistleblowing website Wikileaks have been accused of leaking some top secret US military documents about the war in Afganistan. The White House has condemned this act and held Wikileaks responsible for risking the lives of thousands of US, UK and coalition troops in Afghanistan.

The document has revealed some of the messier parts of Afghanistan war, where US military has been accounted for torture and killing thousands of innocent Afgan civilians. It also shows information regarding Top secret mission against Taliban leaders and also highlights the US fear of Pakistani intelligence agency aid over Afgan uprising. According to Us government, this unfortunate incident might hamper the relation between Pakistan and US while endangering the national security of the state.

No doubt this incident has put US administration in an embarrassing situation, Wikileaks authority has maintained a complete silence over the matter. Infact, no contact was made with US security services from Wikileaks ’s side. The question rises whether the cost of releasing this bitter truth will be more than it’s worth? Are we really risking the lives of the soldiers for mere publicity? Or really digging out the ugly sides of the war for future benefits?
