ANCHORAGE (GaeaTimes.com) — The final results of the elections in Alaska are being processed. But it is almost certain that in one of the most recent political upheavals Joe Miller, a rookie Politician is all set to take over the reins from current senator Lisa Murkowski of the Republican Primary.
It will take a miraculous turn around for uncounted absentee ballots to give Lisa the slim chance of retaining her senator-ship.
Sarah Palin who promoted the relatively unknown Joe Miller has begun tweeting celebratory messages on her twitter account.
She says the result was nothing short of “a miracle on ice”
Keeping fingers crossed, powder dry, prayers upward… but Joe Miller just tweeted @JoeWMiller What’s the moose hunting like in the Beltway?
Recent results suggest that in results of the 429 amongst 438 electoral districts that had been declared Joe Miller was leading with a slim margin of 1,960 votes. He now stands at 45,909 or almost 51% of votes. Murkowski is at 43,949 or 49%. About 16,000 ballots are outstanding. So it is not impossible for Murkowski to overcome the slender lead but right now it is a rather tall mountain to climb.
