Right wing Drops Ann Coulter for Liking Gays

CHICAGO (GaeaTimes.com) — Ann Coulter, the conservative speaker has been dumped from a keynote speaking gig at right-wing website WorldNetDaily’s “Taking America Back National Conference“. Only because she has agreed to deliver a speech at HOMOCON, an event sponsored by GOProud, which “represents gay conservatives and their allies.”

Joseoh Farah, editor and CEO of WND has stated that, it would not make sense for them if Ann speaks in a conference about “taking America back” when she clearly does not recognize that ideal. Infact, by giving a speech in HOMOCON, Ann will support a very radical and “unconservative” agenda.

Coulter has defended herself by saying that the event has nothing to do with her personal beliefs. She commented that,

They hired me to give a speech, so I’m giving a speech. I do it all the time. I speak to a lot of groups and do not endorse them. Giving a speech is not an endorsement of every position held by the people I’m speaking to.

Some political pundits say Coulter’s decision to speak to the conservative gays highlights a growing shift by younger conservatives to be more libertarian toward social issues, including gay-rights.

Both the “Taking America Back” and Homocon conferences take place next month.
