Statement of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer in Support for the Agreement for Middle Class Tax Cuts and Unemployment Insurance
“In extending these tax cuts and unemployment benefits, President Obama and leaders on both sides of the aisle have chosen partnership over partisanship. Their agreement ensures that cities like Orlando, and our nation as a whole, can continue on a path toward recovery. The agreement ensures relief for working families and those hit hardest by the recession. It also paves the way for businesses to jump start our economy. Equally important, I believe this agreement can serve as a new model for how compromise and collaboration at every level of government can benefit Americans everywhere.”
