Former central minister quits RJD

PATNA - Former central minister Devendra Prasad Yadav quit the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Thursday and announced he was forming a new party to fight the coming assembly elections.

A former MP from Jhanjharpur in Bihar, Devendra Yadav has been unhappy with RJD chief and former chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. He said his new party will be the Socialist Janata Dal Democratic Party.
