INDORE - The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is facing a unique problem at the venue of its three-day leadership meeting: snakes.

On Wednesday, snake charmers trapped three of them at the sprawling tented venue where some 5,000 delegates have gathered.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the host, says all is well. “There is nothing to worry. We are careful.”

Nevertheless, a dozen snake charmers are on duty to detect and catch snakes.
