NEW DELHI - A day before an all-party meeting discusses the Telangana issue here, some 30 students from universities in Andhra Pradesh Wednesday assembled in the capital to seek a separate Telangana.

We are here to forward our demand for a separate state and we urge the political parties to boycott the meeting, Jagan, a student from Osmania University, told IANS.

Home Minister P. Chidambaram will Thursday discuss the findings of the Srikrishna committee report, which studied the demand for Telangana, with representatives of political parties from Andhra Pradesh.

The Telangana Rashtra Samiti and Bharatiya Janata Party are boycotting the meeting.
