Meira Kumar to lead MPs team to Egypt

NEW DELHI - A parliamentary delegation led by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar will leave for Egypt Saturday on a five-day visit, an official said.
During the visit, the team will meet top Egyptian government functionaries and parliament leaders.
Despite the ongoing political turmoil and civilian protests in Egypt, the “scheduled visit is on as of now”, the official added.
