NEW DELHI - The Lok Sabha Monday observed a minute’s silence condoling the death of 69 people in a building collapse in the capital last week.

As the house convened at 11 a.m., Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar read out a condolence message expressing grief over the death of people when the five-storey building collapsed in east Delhi Nov 15.

“The house expresses profound grief at the loss of lives in the Lalitha Park incident in Delhi,” Kumar said.

At least 82 people were injured in the incident.
