"It is not easy to find compromise in government and what President Obama has done is demonstrate that true leaders can work together for the betterment of the American People. I applaud the President for reaching across the aisle to Republicans to secure an agreement that will keep more money in the pockets of middle class Americans and continue to provide fuel for our nation's economic recovery. The City of Flint has been particularly hit hard in this tough economy. This tax extension will be a welcomed relief to those in our community who need it most."
