Kokomo Mayor supports Presidents decision on tax relief
After recent improvements in the City of Kokomo’s economic conditions, Mayor Goodnight felt compelled to issue the following statement.
“Although it was a tough call, I support the President’s decision to extend tax relief to middle class Americans. He made the right decision to keep the economy moving in a positive direction by preventing large tax increases. I applaud the President for his willingness to reach out to Republicans and secure an agreement that keeps the country on the road to recovery. Thanks to continued tax relief and cuts to the employee payroll tax, the Americans who need it the most will have more money in their pockets to invest directly back into the local economy.”
