WASHINGTON D.C (GaeaTimes.com) — According to the latest rumor which has gripped the nation lately, Jesse Jackson Jr. had tried to donate $6 million in exchange for the senate seat which was previously occupied by President Barack Obama. Although Jackson has called this allegation “preposterous”, evidences are suggestion otherwise.
Raghuvir Nayak, who was in charge of campaigning and fund raising for both Jackson and Rod Blagojevich, has told the FBI that Jackson Jr. had offered to raise millions of dollars for Rod Blagojevich in return for the senate seat, just a week before the 2008 presedential election. When Blagojevich was arrested after the election for his misdoings, suspicion had started to grow centering Jackson Jr. But according to Associated press, Jackson has claimed that he has no knowledge of any offer made on his behalf, or any scheme involving Blagojevich or the senate seat vacated by President Obama.
In another news, accusation has been raised against Jesse Jackson Jr. is that he paid for Giovana Huidobro, Jackson’s alleged mistress, to fly out to Chicago on two separate occasions. Jackson did not deny or confirm his relationship with Giovana Huidobro, but said that it was a private matter between himself and his wife.
