HARARE - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Thursday arrived at the Zimbabwean capital as part of his two-nation Africa tour.

Ahmadinejad was received by his Zimbabwean counterpart Robert Mugabe at the airport, Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency reported.

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki is accompanying the president as part of the Iranian delegation.

The two presidents are expected to sign a number of cooperation pacts after holding talks. They will also visit a textile factory and a tractor manufacturing company in Harare.

Ahmadinejad will attend a banquet to be hosted by President Mugabe and the inaugural ceremony of the 51st Harare International Trade Exhibition.
