Star-studded wedding for CPI-M leader Pinarayi Vijayan’s son

TELLICHERY - The who’s who of Kerala’s politicians and film stars attended the wedding of Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan’s son here Saturday.
Vijayan’s son Vivek works with a leading bank in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The bride Deepa is a fashion designer, also based in the UAE.
The guests included Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan, Leader of Opposition Oommen Chandy, superstars Mammootty and Suresh Gopi, several cabinet ministers and Christian religious leaders, besides an array of personalities from business and literary circles.
The wedding was a spartan affair with guests served ‘payasam’ and lemon juice.
