NEW DELHI - Shouting slogans like “Hosni Mubarak Get Lost”, a group of students from the Left-leaning Students Federation of India (SFI) Tuesday held a demonstration outside the Egyptian embassy here in support of the large-scale protests in Egypt.

The students from the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M)’s students’ wing held the protest outside the embassy in the high security diplomatic enclave in Chanakyapuri.

They shouted slogans like “Hosni Mubarak Get Lost” and “Down with Dictatorship onwards to Democracy.”

The students also called upon all democratic minded student organisations to support the struggle to overthrow Mubarak, who has been president for the last 30 years.
