Afghan President to visit Delhi on Wednesday

NEW DELHI - Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai will arrive here on Wednesday on a two-day visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in an endeavor to strengthen the friendship and strategic partnership between the two nations.
President Karzai’s visit continues the tradition of regular high-level consultations between the two countries, and will contribute to strengthening the friendship and strategic partnership between India and Afghanistan
Apart from bilateral meetings with President Pratibha Devisingh Patil and Dr. Manmohan Singh, the visiting President will also address the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit - 2011, being organized by The Energy Research Institute on February 3. (ANI)
