PM condoles demise of CPI leader D. Raja’s mother

NEW DELHI - The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has condoled the passing away of Communist Party of India (CPI) National Secretary D. Raja’s mother.

Dr. Singh in his message said: “I was pained to hear of the passing away of your mother. Please accept my heartfelt condolences to you and convey the same to your family. May the Almighty give you the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”

D. Raja’s mother breathed her last in her native village in Tamil Nadu’s Vellore District on Thursday.

She was 88 and is survived by six sons and a daughter. (ANI)
