BJP releases booklet on Gadkari as president

NEW DELHI - The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tuesday released a booklet tracing Nitin Gadkari’s journey as party president over the last one year.

The booklet titled “Marching Ahead…A Year of Journey” traces Nitin Gadkari’s year as party president, and his role in the party alliance winning the assembly elections in Bihar.

The party had got new energy and electoral success under the leadership of Nitin Gadkari in the past one year, party spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad told reporters here.

Gadkari became president of the main opposition party in January last year at a time when the party also saw a march towards younger leadership with Sushma Swaraj replacing L.K. Advani as leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha.
