Sarkozy meets Obama

WASHINGTON - French President Nicolas Sarkozy met US President Barack Obama Monday for talks expected to cover the global economy and international security.
Obama’s meeting with Sarkozy comes as France assumes the presidencies of both the G8 group of the world’s largest developed economies and the G20.
France will be hosting summits of the two organisations later this year.
