Pa. Dem. running for governor opens attack website

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Dan Onorato has started a website dedicated to attacking his Republican foe, Tom Corbett.

Onorato unveiled the site — www.tomcorbettexposed.com — on Monday.

The site features an array of Onorato campaign videos, editorial cartoons, newspaper stories and editorials that mostly recycle information that is already public.

It cites Corbett’s vote to increase property taxes as a township commissioner 22 years ago, lawsuits against him as the state attorney general and his refusal to step down as the state’s chief legal officer while he is campaigning for governor.

Corbett’s campaign spokesman, Kevin Harley, called it the work of desperate candidate.
