Karunanidhi wishes Manmohan Singh happy birthday

CHENNAI - Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi sent birthday greetings to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who turned 78 Sunday.

In a message, Karunanidhi wished Manmohan Singh on behalf of the Tamil Nadu people as well.

“I wish to convey my best wishes to you for a long and happy life filled with good health and contentment. I am confident that our country will continue to make significant achievements under your able and dynamic leadership,” the chief minister said.

The DMK is one of the key allies of the Congress party at the centre.
