American Resort group spends $270K lobbying in 2Q

WASHINGTON — The American Resort Development Association spent $270,000 in the second quarter to lobby federal officials on laws related to promoting travel and other issues, according to a recent disclosure report.

That’s equal to what the trade group spent on lobbying in the fourth quarter and in the first quarter last year.

In January through March, the group also lobbied on consumer protections. It lobbied both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, according to the disclosure report filed July 20 with the House clerk’s office.
