MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Trust Shashi Tharoor to remain in news with or without girlfriend, now fiancee Sunanda Pushkar. While his name still refuses to wipe off from the IPL controversy, the minister has been spotted at the Sai Baba temple in Shirdi with his friend for company, and when its Shashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar together, the media cameras refuse to stop flashing!

High on Twitter, the ex-minister of state for external affairs has also shared his first experience at the holy shrine on his page in networking site Twitter. Though Shashi Tharoor stressed on the fact that his prayers at the Sai Baba temple was for the well being of his family, the cameras photographed him applying vermilion on the head of girlfriend Sunanda Pushkar and since then there have been speculations about whether the two have already tied the knot. Apart from Shirdi, Shashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar were also seen visiting the Shani Shingnapur shrine in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra.

The Sai Baba temple at Shirdi has in the past attracted many a celebrity, the temple being considered as one of the most sacred places of worship for devotees in Maharashtra. Shashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar performed the ‘abhishek’ or ‘offering’ at the holy shrine. Through a tweet, Shashi Tharoor says that he is very impressed at the clean surroundings of the temple, stressing that his Sunday visit helped him to learn a lot about the Indian culture, though the learning can never be even close to complete. With the puja complete, the couple will soon be tying the knot later this month.
