WASHINGTON (GaeaTimes.com)- The Health Care Reform bill’s final day turned out to be an eventful day, with the Democrats winning the 219 votes three more than the needed to pass the bill and the Republicans yelling their protest in and out of the House. While a member from the Republican side yelled out “Baby Killer” at Representative Bart Stupak of Michigan, in the House while he was speaking. The name or identity of the member is not yet known.
Representative Bart Stupak along with six other Democrats decided to vote in favor of the President’s Health Care Bill after the latter announced that he will reaffirm the ban on the funding of abortions by the taxpayers. The retracing of the six Democrats has led the Health Care bill manage the needed votes. This has infuriated the Republicans. On Sunday, while Representative Bart Stupak went on to give his speech, a voice from the Republican side called the leader a “baby Killer” for his supporting of the bill.
Republicans are skeptical about the promise of ban on the abortions funding made by the President. They feel that the promise could be reversed easily. The Republican’s grudge against the Health care bill was voiced all the more clearly on Sunday night after the Bill was passed by the assembly. The Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele declared that it is time to “Fire Nancy Pelosi”. He said that it is time to fire Speaker Nancy Pelosi and ask the President to work for the Americans. However, the Republican rants during the Health Care Bill debate could not change the mind of the voters who voted in favor of the long halted Bill.

This Govenment is a Disgrace. Nancy Pelosi is a moron and I sure hope she is out there soon. Well wait until November!!! I believed in Mr. Obama. Now I don’t believe anything about him except he wants to control everything and his agenda. However, I don’t trust many politicians at all. The corruptness has become more evident than I had even imagined. This sure doesnt seem like America anymore! |
