Shashi Tharoor Reaches Half Million on Twitter, Uses Twitter To Contradict Government on Visa Rules

New Delhi (GaeaTimes.com) — Shashi Tharoor, Minister of state for External Affairs of India, has chosen twitter as a weapon to establish his view on visa issue. He has succeeded to reach half a million people still now.

The honorable minister sounds contradicting Government while opposing tightening of visa for a security concern. He was rather interested in liberalizing visa to promote tourism in India.

Mr. Tharoor has questioned the utter need of strengthening visa rules as he pointed the fact that 26/11 killers didn’t possess any visa.

The ministry of external affairs has also urged the Indian missions and immigration authorities to be flexible allowing two or three visits of a foreigner, while monitoring the detailed itinerary.

So, Mr. Tharoor is once again creating controversy with all his remarks on twitter, against the Goverment decision on visa rules.
