NEW DELHI - Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani Tuesday said there had been no reply from the prime minister on the issue of black money.

Speaking to reporters after releasing the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) report on black money, Advani said there have been many cases of corruption - related to the Commonwealth Games, the defence forces — and the prime minister should take necessary steps to curb them.

The BJP last month had demanded that the government disclose the names of people who hold accounts in foreign banks and face criminal and tax cases in India.

The four-member task force report was released by Advani in the presence of other leaders of the NDA.
