LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) It seems the 20-year-old daughter of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is following the footsteps of her mother Maria Shriver. Katherine Schwarzenegger, a junior at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism has penned a book that is scheduled to be released in the market this week. The book titled “Rock What You’ve Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty” is being published by Hyperion and deals with the subject of body image and the crisis that every girl faces at some or the other point of time during their teenage.

Katherine Schwarzenegger who stands tall at 5-foot-8 with size 6, has mentioned that she got the motivation to write a book in this subject when she overheard her preteen cousins discussing their desire of looking thin and “sexy”. She added that she had herself gone through the same kind of crisis during her teen ages and that the overhearing made her feel that it is a common problem that is faced by almost every girl. Katherine Schwarzenegger says that they were raised by their parents as any other ordinary kids out of the media glare. She maintained that although both her parents were very protective towards her they could not protect her from the body-crisis that plagued her for more than three years. She maintained that while her parents constantly assured her that she looked good, she felt ugly and fat.

Katherine Schwarzenegger in “Rock What You’ve Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty” not only discusses the problems but also provides suggestions to tackle the problem. The lady discusses her own relationship with her parents and how she maintains a healthy lifestyle.
