Gaddafi says he will not step down

CAIRO - Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi said he will not step down, in an address broadcast on state television Tuesday.
“Gaddafi does not have a post to resign from, Gaddafi is the leader of the revolution,” he said.
“This is my country, I will not leave the land of Libya,” he said as he pounded his fist on a podium.
