NEW DELHI - With Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao set to visit India this month, New Delhi remains undecided whether to attend the Oslo ceremony to award Nobel Peace prize to jailed Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo Dec 10.

We haven’t taken a decision yet, official sources said Friday.

China has officially asked nations not to attend the Nobel Peace prize ceremony Dec 10 in Oslo, Norway, stating that doing so would be tantamount to interfering in the country’s internal affairs.

India has always attended previous Nobel Peace prize ceremonies.

The decision is complicated by the fact that Wen Jiabao is scheduled to arrive in India Dec 16, with the aim to bring back bilateral relations on track after several public setbacks this year.

It includes the denial of visa to a senior Indian army official, who had Jammu and Kashmir under his charge, leading to suspension of defence exchanges and issuing of stapled visas to Indian citizens domiciled in Kashmir.
