NEW DELHI - Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will protest outside the Delhi assembly after a march from Red Fort Nov 25, demanding the resignation of “corrupt, inefficient and anti-people” Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

The protest, timed two days after the start of the assembly’s winter session Nov 23, will be led by senior leader M. Venkaiah Naidu, Delhi BJP chief Vijendra Gupta and Leader of Opposition Vijay Kumar Malhotra.

Gupta said the party was demanding Dikshit’s resignation on the issues of corruption surrounding the Delhi government over the Commonwealth Games, price rise, unemployment and the neglect of people in unauthorised colonies.
