Ex-chief minister of West Bengal S.S. Ray dead

KOLKATA - Former West Bengal chief minister and Punjab governor Siddhartha Shankar Ray died at his south Kolkata residence Saturday following renal failure, family sources said.

Ray, 90, also served as Indian ambassador to the US.
