Notification issued for sixth phase of Bihar polls

PATNA - The notification for the sixth and final phase of the Bihar state assembly elections was issued Wednesday.
In the sixth round due Nov 20, polling will be held in 26 of the 243 assembly constituencies.
The first two rounds of polls took place Oct 21 and Oct 24 for 47 and 45 seats respectively. In the third round of polls, scheduled Thursday, elections will be held in 48 constituencies.
Bihar will elect the 243-member assembly in staggered polling that begins Oct 21 and ends Nov 20. The results will be known Nov 24.
