Advani to address three public meetings in Bihar

PATNA - Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L K Advani will address three public meetings in constituencies that go to polls in Bihar on October 24.
Advani would address public meetings at Motihari, Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga.
BJP national spokesmen Shahnawaz Hussain and Rajiv Pratap Rudy would also address public meetings in Benipatti, Rajnagar, Hayaghat, Kusheshwarsthan, Rosera and Samastipur.
BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said: “The results of the Bihar Assembly polls will be historic and beyond expectation as a silent revolution is taking place in the masses to bring back the NDA government.”
Campaigning for the first phase of assembly elections to be held on October 21 in Bihar ends this evening.
Forty-seven constituencies will go to polls in this phase.
According to reports, all political parties are raising issues of development prominently keeping in mind caste equations and social engineering.
NDA leaders are exhorting people to cast their votes in favour of their candidates to speed up development in the state. However, opposition parties, including the Congress, the RJD and the LJP are being held responsible for backwardness in the state.
The six-phase polls for 243 seats begins from October 21 and concludes on November 20.
Counting of votes will take place on November 24. (ANI)
