CPI parliamentarian in all praise for Mamata

KHARAGPUR - Communist Party of India (CPI) parliamentarian from Midnapore Prabodh Panda here Wednesday praised Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee for her development works and assured all kind of cooperation for proper implementation of the projects.
The issue has gained importance as neither Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee or any Left Front leader were invited to attend the railways programmes.
Panda shared the dias with railway minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee at a foundation stone-laying programme for a centre for excellence in wagon prototyping, advanced loco pilot training centre at Kharagpur.
“In the Vision 2020 of the railways, several development projects are likely to come up in the state. She (Mamata Banerjee) has already initiated different development projects in the state,” he said.
He also assured to help to Mamata for implementing development projects in Midnapore areas.
“She has already announced railway projects in Kharagpur which will definitely bring some progress in the area. So we need to cooperate with the railways and I am ready to help for proper implementation,” he said.
The railway minister was seen giving a patient hearing to Panda.
