Convicted ex-Ill. Gov. Blagojevich to talk trust
CHICAGO — Ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich is going to talk about trust.
Blagojevich, who was recently convicted of lying to the FBI, has been asked by sponsors of what’s billed as a “Trust Forum” in New York City on Tuesday to be on the panel.
A notice on the organizer’s Web site says Blagojevich will discuss what it characterizes as his “unique take on trust.”
While convicting him of lying, jurors deadlocked on 23 other counts. Blagojevich, who has repeatedly declared his innocence, is set to be retried on the deadlocked counts in January.
The “Trust Forum” is part of weeklong events in New York City called Advertising Week. Other scheduled panelists are from Microsoft, Yahoo and Harvard Business School.
