LINCOLN (GaeaTimes.com)- On Friday, a video surfaced on the “Real Time with Bill Maher” where the American audience watched that the Republican Party nominee Christine O‘Donnell confessing that she dabbled into witchcraft. The video sparked a lot of controversy as the tea party favorite was seen saying that she dated a man in her high school life who practiced witchcraft. The former freelance public relations consultant canceled two national news shows after the video was aired. However, yesterday at the GOP picnic in Southern Delaware she defended herself saying that people do “hangout” with “questionable folks” in the high-school life.
It seems that Christine O‘Donnell gave reasons for her “dabbling into witchcraft” as her young age. However, she also said that after her high-school she never indulged in any such activity and she jokingly said that if she had been involved in witchcraft, then “Karl Rove” would have been her supporter by now. The video clip was filmed in 1999 for Bill Maher’s show “Politically Incorrect” but it was not aired. It is reported that the host of the show has said that if Christine O‘Donnell does not appear in his show he is going to air a clip of her every week.
In the controversial video clip Christine O‘Donnell said that she dabbled in to witchcraft but she never joined a “coven”. She even confessed that she hung around with people who were into witchcraft. The Republican nomination for the Delaware Gubernatorial election said that one of her first dates was with a “witch” on a satanic altar. She said that both of them went onto a movie and then they had midnight picnic at the satanic altar.
