PHOENIX (GaeaTimes.com)- John McCain’s daughter Meghan McCain released her book ‘Dirty Sexy Politics’ on Tuesday. Considering the title and the ‘Maverick’s daughter’s personality, the book might appear to be an inside gossip on today’s politics, but Meghan McCain has chosen to use it as a vehicle for getting her political ideas across and also clarify some of the opinions of the Republicans. In the book, she has dealt with several topics that came as a surprise to many. She not only spoke about Sarah Palin, but also tried to explain the her father’s loss to Barack Obama. John McCain has commented that though he may not agree with his daughter on every issue he enjoyed the book and found it to be great for conversation around the dinner table.

About Sarah Palin, Meghan McCain wrote that she was not the one to be blamed for John McCain’s loss. She described the former vice presidential candidate as a ‘Time Bomb’. She has, however, praised the glamorous politician for her ability to inspire women and her down to earth nature. About her father’s loss to Barack Obama, Meghan McCain wrote that John McCain lost because Barack Obama was ‘unbeatable’. She explained that the media became obsessed with the fresh new face that was a far cry from George W Bush.

Meghan McCain has also said in the book that it being a Republican is not a lifestyle choice but a political one. The book also deals with her struggle to fit in to the Republican party. It has been released by Hyperion.
