MUMBAI (GaeaTimes.com) — After facing the IPL controversy regarding Team Kochi bidding together, Sashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar has reportedly agreed to tie the knot on August 22. Both of them were seen at the famous Sai Baba Temple in Shirdi and at the Shani Shingnapur shrine in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar district offering prayers for peace and happiness.
Tharoor, a former Lok Sabha MP and his friend Sunanda has decided that the marriage will take place at Tharoor’s maternal village in Kerala. It’s going to be a very private affair where only a very few friends and family members will be present. Their marriage reception is scheduled on September 3rd in Delhi. Guests from India and abroad were likely to be on the invitees’ list. The invitation card is being designed in Delhi.
Sashi Tharoor aka “Twitter Minister”, who is not known to be too religious, has tweeted his feelings after visiting the temples,
Made first visit to Shirdi. Extraordinary temple to Sai baba, who preached Shraddha and Saburi (faith and peace) hundred years back. Sabka malik ek. Wonderful visit 2 (to) open-air temple to Saturn and Shani Shingnapur. Simple ritual in clean, pure surroundings. 1 (One) can nvr (never) know enuf (enough) of our culture.
We wish them all the very best for their future and just hope that no new controversy arises centering this couple before their marriage.
