Nevada Unemployment Figures Target Democrats

NEVADA (GaeaTimes.com)- The rising rates of the Nevada unemployment may prove to be fatal for Harry Reid. In the election campaign that has just been launched to elect the next Senator of Nevada, Sharron Angle has been putting forth the rising unemployment rates in the state of Nevada as the chief reason for which Harry Reid should be ousted from office, promising that the Republicans, if elected, will try their best to revert the situation in the state.
In a live chat that the Republican candidate has just given to Jon Ralston in his show “Face to Face” Sharron Angle blames the huge unemployment benefits given to the residents of Nevada as the chief reason as to why the Nevada unemployment rates have been showing a steep climb in the recent past. She says that if she becomes the next Senator of Nevada after the elections are concluded, the first policy which the Republicans will enact in the state will be to lower the unemployment benefits offered to the jobless in Nevada.
Official figures that have been recorded in Nevada show a rise of almost 10% in the unemployment rate of Nevada in the recent past. Even few years back the Nevada unemployment was a mere 4.4% of the total population of the state which has now risen to 14%. The rise has been witnessed during the tenure of Harry Reid as the Senator of the state. The release of these figures may put his authority over the post at stake, feel political analysts. The Nevada unemployment rates have thus become the chief deciding factor for the Senatorial election in the state.
