Al Gore Affair? No, Just Separation

WASHINGTON (GaeaTimes.com)- Former Presidential candidate Al Gore has shocked the world with the announcement of divorce, after no less than 40 years of marriage. Even more horrifying are the accusations that claim that he might have been involved in an affair, which is being considered to be the main cause for the separation. However, so far, there have been no confirmation of the fact, and it seems that it is only a rumor that is circulating, in the same way that rumors circulate following the news of a break up or a divorce.

The former Vice President and his wife, Tipper Gore, let the news out by the means of an email that they sent out to friends and associates. In the email, the couple wrote that they have officially decided to separate after giving it a great deal of thought, for a very long time. The email stated that both Al Gore and Tipper Gore had decided to call off their marriage not in a rash, heat of the moment decision, but only after they had come to the conclusion that it was the best they could do. However, the email also asserted that there is no bitterness involved in the whole affair, and that the decision is absolutely mutual.

In the email, the couple stated that they would not be providing any reason for what is an absolutely private matter, and hoped to be left alone by the press while they deal with the situation. On the other hand, the rumors that seem to be floating about a possible Al Gore affair being the cause of the split seem to be totally baseless.
