Parliamentarian and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad has decided to go on a tour of Bihar to “check” if his rival and Bihar chief minister’s Nitish Kumar’s claim of development is really true .
“After the current Parliament session is over, I will tour Bihar to find marks of development, if any, under Nitish Kumar”, Prasad told reporters today before leaving for New Delhi.
“Where is development? There is all round corruption everywhere while the common men are sandwiched between criminals and police”, he said.
Lalu’s rival Nitish Kumar is currently on a tour to villages under part of his yatra nicknamed Vishwas Yatra aimed at winning the confidence of voters ahead of assembly elections scheduled this year.
This is the fifth time that the CM has gone on yatra.
Previoulsy, he had undertaken Nyay Yatra, Vikas Yatra, Dhanyawad Yatra and Pravas Yatra.
