Nitish’s Vishwas Yatra begins

Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar formally went on his month-long Vishwas Yatra from today.

The objective of this tour is to win the confidence of the masses ahead of forthcoming state assembly elections although the chief minister says it is aimed at getting people’s feedback on his government’s performance.

“I am going to get the feedback of the masses about the performance of the government in Bihar”, Kumar told reporters at the Patna airport before embarking on his tour.

This is the fifth time in the last four years that tne chief minister has gone on yatra.
