Summary Box: Google discloses government demands

NEW BREAKDOWNS: Google is showing country by country where it’s facing pressure to censor material and turn over personal information about its users.

BUT NOTHING ON CHINA: Google says that information is classified as a state secret.

KINDS OF DISCLOSURES: Censorship requirements, government requests to edit search results and demands to remove material from other services such as YouTube. But requests related to allegations of copyright infringement aren’t part of the tallies.
