GUWAHATI - Bharatiya Janata Party President Nitin Gadkari on Monday chose to attack the Congress party on various issues including price-rise and minority appeasement issue during a public rally here.
Accusing the Congress of following a policy of appeasement of terrorists, Gadkari claimed that his party always stood for nationalism and the erstwhile National Democratic Alliance (NDA) regime dealt sternly with any attempt to divide the country.
“The minority appeasement policy has threatened to break the fabric of the nation as well its unity and integrity,” he said during the rally.
“What is the necessity of appeasing the minority community and create a divide between the so called majority and minority,” he added.
Gadkari is on a three-day visit to Guwahati. By Peter Alex Todd(ANI)
