John Edwards Fathered Child With Mistress

WASHINGTON (GaeaTimes.com)- During the campaign of the White House nomination for the Democratic Party, it was admitted by Senator John Edwards that he had fathered a child with his erstwhile mistress, Rielle Hunter. He admitted that he is the father of a baby girl, Frances Quinn Hunter, who was born two years back. This confession comes as a shock, not only because he is a member of the United States politics, a circle in which it is considered nothing short of a scandal, but also because he had earlier denied being the father of the child.

In a statement released during the campaign of the nominations for the White House for the Democratic Party, Senator John Edwards came out with this shocking confession. He also said that he would attempt to provide Frances Quinn Hunter, his daughter, with every bit of care and love that is needed to be showered upon a child. He also hoped that he would be forgiven by his daughter at some point of time, when she comes to know the whole story.

Earlier, Senator John Edwards had been charged with having an extramarital affair with Rielle Hunter, but had denied it, but admitted to it later on. However, he kept denying that he had fathered the child. In his latest admission, he confessed that he had been spending some time with her in the past year. Coincidentally, the admission by the Senator John Edwards that he fathered a child with his former mistress Rielle Hunter has come just prior to the publication of a literary work by an erstwhile aide. The book is supposedly about to name Senator John Edwards as the father of the child.
