MESCALERO, N.M. - The Mescalero Apache Tribe and the Sunland Park racetrack said Wednesday that they're opposing Jemez Pueblo's proposal to build a casino and hotel near Anthony, which is nearly 300 miles from the northern New Mexico pueblo.
