Statement by the Press Secretary on the visit of President Ali Bongo Ondimba of Gabon to the White House

President Obama will meet with President Ali Bongo Ondimba of Gabon on Thursday, June 9, to advance the important partnership between the United States and Gabon on a range of critical regional and global issues.  Gabon holds the presidency of the United Nations Security Council for the month of June.
