Readout of the President’s Meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab EmiratesBy USGOV

The President met today at the White House with His Highness Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The two leaders had a productive and wide-ranging discussion which focused on our common strategic interests in the region. The President and the Crown Prince noted the strong ties between the United States and the UAE, and emphasized the importance of continued close consultations between our two countries. This meeting occurred after National Security Advisor Tom Donilon’s April 13 consultations with the Crown Prince in Abu Dhabi.
