NASHVILLE (GaeaTimes.com)- Newly elected Republican in the Tennessee House of Representatives, Julia Hurley credited her previous workplace Hooters for shaping her career and her personal life. The Tennessee legislator wrote a current issue of a reputed magazine where she spoke about the difficulties that she faced in her life, her experience as Hooters girl and her recent political aims. The name of the article is “the success stories of Hooters Girls both past and present”.

In her column, Julia Hurley wrote that she had to face many difficulties in her life initially as she was a “Hooters girl”. At the same time, she admitted that her previous company taught her to fight against the oddities and influenced her to join politics to serve the country. Julia Hurley, who defeated Dennis Ferguson, the Democrat of Knoxville said that she had to face criticisms “during my run for State House in Tennessee” for being an employee of Hooters. However, she also added that Hooters helped her to be string willed and eager to be successful in her professional life.

Julia Hurley also said that she is honored to get an opportunity to serve her own country and now she identifies herself with every woman who have overcome oddities in her life to achieve their dream. She said that her past experiences shape her present life. Julia Hurley also said that Hooters gave her the opportunity to be with the women who has struggled all their lives and learn from them. House Republican Caucus Chairwoman Debra Maggart was all in praises for Julia Hurley and she said that the politician has never hidden anything about her past.
